Quan Steele, a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist, expresses her voice through painting, sculpture, installation, performance art, and ephemeral art. Her work addresses the personal, social, and environmental challenges of our rapidly changing world, blending reality and imagination in conceptual creations.
Inspired by the beauty of landscapes, the complexity of human relationships, the effects of deforestation and plastic pollution, her practice spans studio work, on-site research, plein-air sketches, artist talks, and performances.
She explores themes of impermanence, the passage of time, and memory. With many awards, her work has been featured in over 45 juried exhibitions and 75 group and curated shows across Ontario and Quebec. She is a proud member of the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA), the Broken Forest Eco-Art Collective, the Etobicoke Arts Group, and ArtWorks Oakville.
